How Our Class Levels Work

Our group classes are taught by level, building up from beginners (Level 1) through Jr Swim Team (Level 4-5). Private lessons are for any level swimmer, as long as the child is at least 2 years and 4 months old. Based on the age of your child and whether they can roll to float, find out more about our different class levels below.

My child CANNOT roll to float on their own.

PRIVATE

Private/Semi-Private

Age: Minimum 2 years and 4 months old
Class length: 28 minutes
Class ratio: 1:1 or 2:1

Private/Semi-Private lessons are with your child and one instructor (unless you add a sibling or friend to make it a semi-private).

It does NOT guarantee that you will have the whole pool to yourself. But you will have one dedicated instructor for your child the entire time. Like in every class, we will assess their individual needs and meet them where they are!

1-on-1

Age: Minimum 2 years and 4 months old
Class length: 20 minutes
Class ratio: 1:1

1-on-1 lessons are shorter than Private/Semi-Private and therefore can only have ONE child enrolled at a time. It does NOT guarantee that you will have the whole pool to yourself. But you will have one dedicated instructor for your child the entire time.

This focused learning time goes a long way, and skill from any level can be taught. Like in every class, we will assess their individual needs and meet them where they are!
